The release

Jesy Nelson: Life After Little Mix launched on Prime Video on 13 February 2026. The series contains six episodes and follows Jesy through pregnancy and the transition into motherhood, while looking back at the career that made her famous.

The programme was announced as an intimate documentary series rather than a music comeback. It gives Jesy space to discuss her childhood ambitions, The X Factor, nine years in Little Mix, the pressure of public attention and the difficult period surrounding her departure.

What the six episodes cover

The series moves between present-day family life and a review of Jesy’s public career. Its subjects include her relationship with performance, online abuse, the effect of fame on her self-image, solo music and the expectations placed on women in pop.

Later episodes follow serious pregnancy complications and the premature birth of Ocean and Story. The programme therefore changes tone as it moves from a retrospective music documentary into a record of an unexpected family crisis.

Where it fits in Jesy’s story

Life After Little Mix is the broadest first-person account Jesy has made since the BBC documentary Odd One Out in 2019. Odd One Out focused on cyberbullying and mental health. The Prime Video series covers a longer timeline and asks what identity looks like after a decade inside a globally successful group.

The story continued later in 2026 with Jesy Nelson: Life Changing, a separate documentary about the twins’ SMA diagnosis and the campaign for newborn screening.
